I spent countless hours day in and day out painting and preparing to move into this location. With the help of some great people that spent more hours than I can count painting and moving furniture, props, and equipment I am FINALLY moved in and ready for your business.

I have already been blessed with the opportunity to shoot a remarkable and very funny  2013 Graduate of Ridgewood High School and a pair of 9 month old twins.  These 2 sessions in the first week of opening have given me a big boost in confidence that I might just be able to make this thing work.

 

So if you have been thinking about any family, individual or special occasions that may need to be photographed give us a call, I would love to work with you.

The second room is under primer and should be painted tomorrow.  I have a few backdrops to get hung up and then the search for studio props will begin. If you have anything that you think would make a great prop, give me a call and be glad to come take a look at it.....

Its been along weekend of nothing but primer, primer, primer.  We have managed to put about 7 gallons of primer on this room and I think we are finally ready to throw some color on the walls.

 

I still have 1 more room to conquer, its alittle smaller but it will still be alot of work....

We have a lot to do before we open the doors but we got off to a great start today. I had a few friends stop by and help my wife and I with the cleaning, thanks Chris and Christian!!  

Next on the to do list is splash some paint on the walls and then it will be time to decorate. Won't be long now ....

What do you think? https://www.jsphotographydesign.com/blog/2013/3/new-studio Well I think its time that J & S Photography makes a turn towards the future. I have been looking around the area for a studio space and I think I have found the perfect location. Its in downtown Coshocton in a 5000 sq. ft. building. This place has enormous potential and I believe it will take me to the next level. I look forward to this adventure and hope this will expand my business and let us grow into the future.

 

One of the plans I have for this space is to start and develop a Coshocton County Photo Club. This will be for anyone ( amateurs and Professionals) in the area that wants to learn and share ideas with other photographers in the community. I will provide the space and the studio equipment, all you need is a camera and a few hours a month to come shoot and hang out.
